I liked this interesting doorknob design from Hideyuki Nakayama. Its a doorknob that doubles as a crystal ball, allowing you to see in to the next room. As unique and magical as it is, there is a high possibility for creepiness with a doorknob like this. It could avoid that only if used as a knob on doors that lead to non-private spaces. For instance on a door leading to a dining or living space it would be great. I think its beautiful and so simple its genius, plus it has magic fairy tale vibe to it.
